How did the idea come about?
We are Patricia and Álvaro, two siblings from Bilbao and founders of igoqap. Our passion for collecting stickers since we were kids, exchanging them in the iconic Plaza Nueva in Bilbao, inspired us to create this platform.
igoqap was born in mid-2021 with the goal of bringing that exchange experience into the digital world, incorporating the participation of content creators and their audiences.
The design of our logo represents Plaza Nueva seen from the air, while the name combines “igo” (to rise in Basque) and “qap” (our virtual currency).
Since then, we have worked tirelessly to build an innovative platform that connects people, offering a space where creativity and mutual support between creators and followers are the true protagonists. Every detail of igoqap is designed with the purpose of reflecting our values and that unique essence of community.
